We Need You! New Beginnings Reading is looking for regular volunteers to help us support those facing homelessness and hardship in our local community. If you can offer empathy, kindness, and a few hours of your time, you could make a real difference. From helping to distribute food or serving in our All Day Cafe, to offering a listening ear and supporting people towards independent living — your time can change lives. New Beginnings Reading is opening our doors for a trial of a brand-new Breakfast Service. The new service will run on alternate Saturdays up until Christmas. This isn’t just about food; It’s about connection. A warm meal shared at a table can restore dignity, ease loneliness, and remind people that they belong to a community that cares. But we can’t do it alone.
